Buried? Betrayed? No way out? Signal the node.
This is the modernized equivalent of a 1985 newspaper ad with a telephone number. It does not ask for your name. It does not require details you aren't ready to give. It assumes you are already at your last option.
What happens next
The uplink passes through a multi-layered anonymization relay before reaching any reviewer. No IP address is logged in correlation with signal content. No session state persists beyond the transmission window.
Phase 01 · Received
The signal enters the queue. No acknowledgement is sent — silent intake is part of the protocol. Acknowledgement would leak a correlation pair.
Phase 02 · Classified
The signal is classified against doctrinal thresholds (see Doctrine §03). Patterns that do not meet threshold are discarded without retention. Patterns that do meet threshold route to the appropriate subsystem.
Phase 03 · Routed
Signals that warrant further action are handed to legitimate downstream channels — journalism, legal counsel, regulatory advocacy, or community organizations with subject-matter authority. STERLEKai™ does not adjudicate. It routes.
Phase 04 · Response (if requested)
If you provided a callback channel, a reviewer may contact you through it. There is no guaranteed timeline. There is no guaranteed response. The silence is not rejection — it is operational security.
What not to send
Do not send legal evidence. Do not send images or files that can be timestamped against you. Do not send details that would identify you uniquely — even if you trust the channel, the construct's own Mandatory Anonymity Protocol is only as strong as the information that enters it. If the envelope can identify you, the envelope is a risk the construct cannot eliminate.
Send the pattern. The pattern is enough.
If you are being watched, hunted, or forgotten — we're already listening.
STERLEKai™ is operated under fictional jurisdiction for strategic ethics simulation. The Uplink Channel accepts narrative-tier signals only. For real-world legal action, consult qualified counsel. For immediate safety threats, contact local emergency services. For reporting child exploitation, use the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org). For domestic abuse, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7 (1-800-799-7233).
